Berlin 20 - 28 January, 2011
Look back and remember:
Berlin is a remarkable city – with its wide, clean streets,
sprawling suburbs interconnected by rivers and parks; endless with what it
offers to its citizens and tourists: culture, architecture, entertainment,
nature, leisure steeped in a history known to most people – a painful and
tragic history, BUT let us not forget that Germany also boasts with a proud
history from which numerous world changers have emerged that have left their
influential mark on church history, world leaders, music, art, literature,
architecture, science and all levels of civilization. Modern day Berlin speaks
of a nation who has lifted its head, faced the world, took responsibility for
its collective shame and with painstaking determination moved towards the
healing of a country and its people.
